This ivory figurine is a portray of an iron worker with various tools in his hands. It may be opened by hinges and shows iron worker in different scenes (left side: helpmate with forcer; right side: smelter with broach).
This ivory carving was purchased in 1938 from the private collection of Karl Spitzner, former ‘Oberbergrat’ in Dresden.
